Workshops and Classes

Creating a ring from a piece of raw silver wire is immensely satisfying. Come and immerse yourself in making in the tranquil surroundings of my personal jewellers studio in the Worcestershire countryside. My Half Day Ring Workshop is suitable for the complete beginner or those with a little experience and perfect for some creative time out...

CURRENT DATES AVAILABLE: Starting again in April, get in touch to reserve your place.

WHAT TO EXPECT

After a warm welcome, my Half Day Workshop begins with a short talk and outline of our time together. You will have your own bench area, with all the tools needed to create your work of art. I will guide you through each of the steps as you get to grips with handling and soldering your precious metal.

You will learn basic jewellery smithing techniques and explore textures to create a two rings that are unique to you. With a max of three people you will have my studio completely to yourselves, so you can relax with your nearest and dearest and enjoy the therapeutic benefits of making at your own pace.

Perfect for couples, friends, little family groups or just a bit of time out on your own...

At the end of the class, while our creations are in the polisher (or if you'd like a break part way through), we will relax with a cup of tea or coffee and biscuits…It’s amazing how hungry creative work can make you!

Whether you consider yourself artsy or not, I can guarantee you'll wear home two beautiful little rings that you have created yourself.
